Currently the filters plugin does not support filtering by date but it should not be too hard to add this. I will try to get this added before our next release.

Preliminary support for filtering on message age is in SVN as of rev 1127. I have only tested it with one environment but so far it seems to be working well. There are 3 options for message age when setting up a filter: "any', "newer than" and "older than". The "newer than" and "older than" options have another setting to set the number of days ago.

well, now i have my desired filter :-) , but I`m unfortunately still struggeling to get it to work in one case!
If I want to delete all mails older then 30 days from inbox
At the "edit filter" page:
- what do I enter at "pattern" if the rule applies to all messages in inbox?
- pattern target is "entire message" ?
All my other time based filters, where I could match patter to a certain
string do work fine! Hoping to get this last little problem solved !

I have added support for filter rules that do have an empty pattern but a defined time range. This is in SVN as of revision 1281. You can download the latest SVN here:

I have only tested this with Dovecot IMAP but it seems to work ok so far.
