Good day. I recently switched from SquirrelMail to this fantastic email software. However, I find something that could be improved: Typing in an address is quite boring right now, as it involves a fair bit of steps, eg. introducing text in contact lookup search box, hitting search, click the desired recipient(s) and then the option, be it To, Cc, Bcc, etc. Can this be changed to automagic completion "a la" Gmail?

Thanks for the feedback. This would make a good plugin I think. I started on it tonight after reading your great suggestion. I will let you know when there is something functional in SVN to test with.

I have committed a first version of an auto-complete address plugin for the compose page to SVN. I have only tested it in firefox (and it does use a lot of javascript) so it needs some more testing. It is pretty cool I though I think and it has 4 user settings on the options page in the compose page section. You can read the details here:

I plan on testing with some other browsers over the next week and will update the plugin to fix any problems that arise.
