action DDL not persisting in rc7

I recently updated from rc4 to rc7, and it seems like the drop-down action selector's selected value is not persisting between actions, so for example if I select "delete" as an action and then click the right-arrow next to it from the inbox (after having clicked on an email to view it), the email will be deleted and the next one displayed, but the drop-down list will return to "select action".

This is for the basic theme, and happens across systems and browsers. ARAIK it worked fine in rc4 (e.g. held the previously selected value).

Re: action DDL not persisting in rc7

This is actually an intentional change. There is a "default message action" setting on the options page under the message view section. The selected action of that setting will be what the drop-down reverts to if you change it to another action. It was pointed out to me that the setting is not very useful if after you perform a different action and it does not revert to the default so I altered it's behavior.

Thanks for pointing that out...I hadn't noticed the new setting!

Well, still not quite right, I think

Not to be picky, and maybe I'm just missing something... the default setting saves the action, but for things like "Move", it doesn't save the folder to move to. I often am filing away using the same folder over and over.

Thanks for what is looking to be a great program (I just found it)!

Re: Well, still not quite right, I think

Thanks for the feedback. The last destination folder was already being saved but it was not being used correctly by that dropdown. A fix is in SVN (rev 1471 or newer). Now the destination folder used from any message action dropdown should be remembered and preset on any other (mailbox listing, new mail, search results, and the message view pages)
