OtherInbox
I have an account with Otherinbox which allows IMAP access. I am able to access the main folders using hastymail, however I am unable to select / view sub folders. Hase anyone been able to do this or is there a compatibility issue with hastymail and otherinbox?

re OtherInbox

This is the first I have heard of OtherInbox. Any idea what IMAP server they are using? If you login via Hastymail then click on the "H" icon in the upper left hand corner the about page will display some information about the IMAP server. If you copy that into this thread it might be enough to determine the server software. Often times folder hierarchy issues are resolvable with some config file tweaking so if we can determine the IMAP server we might be able to get it working pretty easily.

Thanks for the feedback,
Jason

Unfortunately that does not reveal much :)

The next step is to enable the imap debug options in the hastymail.conf file then login to the account. Below the interface will be a LOT of IMAP commands and responses. If you can send that to me at jason@hastymail.org that would be great. Is OtherInbox a free service? If so I will sign up this weekend and see if I can debug this problem directly.

re
OtherInbox is a free service, however you have to subscribe ($20.00 year) to receive imap access.  I will do the debug later today and email you the results.

You might want to leave otherinbox support a note that you have written a IMAP web program that your customers would like to use with otherinbox..  they may give to you the imap access without charge

I might actually write to them. I got the debug you sent (thanks very much for doing that) but I don't see anything immediately wrong. I followed up via E-mail to you with some specific questions about the way Hastymail is behaving. I have an idea of what it might be so I will see what I can do to narrow it down.

Thanks for the feedback,
Jason
