Hastymail2 is an Open Source IMAP webmail client written in PHP. Our focus is compliance, usability, security, and speed.
2015-04-16 Update:

Sadly Hastymail2 is no longer being maintained. Happily this is because we are working on a new web-based E-mail client, called Cypht. If you need support your best bet is the #hastymail IRC channel at freenode. Thanks to everyone who contributed to and supported this project!

New forums and site design

We have forums again! and we have upgraded to a better open source package than the home grown solution we were using. I don't know if I can import the existing posts but will try to. You will have to sign up for an account to post, but that is just to keep spammers away (hopefully!). We also have a new site design which was long overdue since the style has not been altered since the site first launched. The mantis bug tracker has also been updated to the latest version and both it and the forums have been integrated into the new design. Thanks to my employer's generous policy of allowing software engineers one day a year to dedicate themselves to open source projects I was able to take a paid day off from work and get all these improvements in place!

Forums Temporarily Down
We have been noticing some troubling entries in the web server access log that suggest some not so friendly entities are abusing or attempting to abuse the forums. They are old and slow and on the roadmap to be replaced anyway so just in case they are being abused I have disabled them until a suitable replacement can be put into place. Hopefully I will have something up and running this weekend.
