Hastymail2 is an Open Source IMAP webmail client written in PHP. Our focus is compliance, usability, security, and speed.
2015-04-16 Update:

Sadly Hastymail2 is no longer being maintained. Happily this is because we are working on a new web-based E-mail client, called Cypht. If you need support your best bet is the #hastymail IRC channel at freenode. Thanks to everyone who contributed to and supported this project!

Hastymail2 1.1 RC1 Now Available

The first release candidate for the next stable version of Hastymail2 is now available. There are a few more fixes since the last news update and still two known issues to resolve. The known issues are a display related problem with IE9 and certain themes, and a problem with the auto-save draft feature on the compose page with the EIMS IMAP server. We encourage all users to upgrade to this version as it has tons of fixes and improvements over the last stable release. Once the known issues are resolved, and assuming nothing new comes up, we will package up the final 1.1 version. Below are the changes since the last news post and a link to the release downloads:

 - Turkish interface translation update thanks to pardus.org.tr

- Fixed broken redirect url used after replying to or forwarding an HTML message

- Made the default message filter in the main index.php file HTMLPurifier

- Improved image replacement logic for viewing HTML message parts

- Fixed a bug with the saving of company information when importing a vcard

- Fix extra line breaks being inserted into a message body when resuming a draft

- Capture and use decoded attachment size from the IMAP server when available

- Improved body formatting when replying to text messages

Dang! I just upgraded, didn't want to wait :) The new clean theme is excellent, and the whole system seems *way* faster, and it was already fast to begin with. Great job! Next, I'm gonna see if I can hack together a wide/three column version of the Clean theme.

Thanks for the feedback. I am really liking the clean theme as well. I think I am going to make a basic version without all the images and use that as the basis for a new default theme. If you are able to make anything useful in the theme department we would love to incorporate that back into the source. One of the items on the roadmap for after 1.1 final is done is to rework how templates work to try to make themes more powerful. I would love to be able to provide both HTML5 and XHTML based themes. your bug tracker requires signup and dumps my email address. If I click on a message subject in a folder list, I'm brought to the "unread messages" page instead of the message. If I click on the sender or the time the mail was received, HM displays the mail the way I'd expect.

Sorry the bug tracker is giving you problems, I will look into it. You can E-mail me directly at jason [at] hastmail.org. Can you tell me exactly what version of hastymail2 you have, what theme you have selected, and what browser you are using? Thanks, Jason
