It has been another busy week for Hastymail2 development. Lots of testing is going on and several fixes and new features have been added thanks to great feedback. We have had a bump in traffic due to a couple of mentions on some moderately popular sites. Thanks to those spreading the word about Hastymail2, we appreciate the support. Here is what is new since the last update:

 - Added a new theme called "aqua". I really like some of the changes introduced with this theme, enough so that I may alter the default to adapt a few. There is a screenshot along with this post.

- Added a PHP CLI script to convert profiles and some settings from Hastymail 1.x format to Hastymail2. Not very thoroughly tested yet.

- Added support to the hastymail2.conf file for a custom logout URL to redirect users to after they logout.

- Updated the defaults in the ldap addressbook plugin and added an authentication related option to the plugin settings file.

- Added an option to force HTML formatted message parts to be displayed in an HTML iframe within the hastymail interface. Poorly formatted HTML message parts can interfere with the HTML/CSS of the interface, by putting the message content to an iframe this can be avoided. I made this the default behavior for new installs, but also made it possible to disable it in the config file.

- Added HTTP basic authentication support. The username and password used for HTTP auth are passed on to the IMAP server.

There have been some big changes since the last release, but they are getting a good workout and things are looking good. I plan on putting out a fifth release candidate within the next few weeks.
